Benefiting Tuesday’s Children
A total of 2,977 victims were killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
2,753 people were killed at the World Trade Center in New York City (including passengers on the planes that struck the towers).
184 people were killed at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
40 passengers and crew were killed on United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania after passengers fought back against the hijackers.
Additionally, thousands more — including first responders, survivors, and residents — have since died or developed serious health conditions due to exposure to toxic dust and debris at Ground Zero. The long-term health impact of 9/11 continues to this day.

Dedicated to supporting families forever changed by terrorism, military conflict, and mass violence, Tuesday’s Children provides long-term healing and resilience programs for: Families of 9/11 victims | Military families of the fallen | Survivors of terrorism and mass violence | First responders | International youth and families impacted by conflict.
With a commitment to providing a lifetime of healing, Tuesday’s Children has helped thousands of individuals find strength, hope, and community through personalized support programs, youth mentorship, mental health services, and career resources.
